The Colour of Spring

At the moment the jacarandas are in bloom
giving the land the most beautiful mauve
hue.

Thanks, Terry, I am trying to post photographs to contrast our
two different areas.
I grew up in Scotland until I was 15 so appreciate the
differences.

Beautiful, Elaine! We are just entering Winter here, so it's going to be a while before we
see much color!

Thanks everyone. I was actually sitting in the car waiting for Glenn to get off the train having been out taking a few pics in the rain, when I realized how beautiful it was.
I know they are not indigenous but love the colour.

Yes, yes, it is great to see springtime in the late autumn...beautifully done!

Very lovely, Elaine.
Strangely we don't have them around here.
Pretoria (South Africa) has hundreds of them lining the streets
and has a Jacaranda Festival every Spring... Or used to have :(
