I agree totally with, Hal; it looks very much like IR. Michael, this isn't your usual kind of photography and I must say this is so powerful, such high impact. I love the contrast between the sky and the cliffs... great job, amazing photo!

I'd think that this was Utah, not Kansas. This is a Kansas that I have not seen. Very dramatic and beautiful.
