Pine Creek

Pine Creek is a gem of the Sierra Nevada. Sporting some of the best granite in the range, and some of the strangest rock of other types, the peaks surrounding this spectacular canyon are a rock climber's playground.

Yeah, it's a cheap scanner...and I'm still learning how to use it properly. The main problem is that some of my best pics are scanned from slides, and the scanner is producing nasty vertical lines. Also, dust and cat hair are a constant worry... :)

I've driven up to trail head for Pine Creek and found it to be beautiful. It's fun to see a gallery devoted to this area. I've spent quite a bit of time in the Eastern Sierra and still can't get enough.
There is just one thing about your images, they seem to be suffering from a lot of noise. I noticed that many of them of scans from film so you might be able to use the scanner software to tweak this a bit. Then of course there are many great noise reduction programs available too.
