Venetia by Night

"Hotels are not available," so they told us. We decided to rent a car and to find a hotel on our own. And guess what: No problem. We stayed in Mestre, a town right in front of Venice, mere 10-15min distance by public bus (1Eur). After our arrival we took the bus to Venice and made a nice night ride with the River Bus to the Piazza di San Marco.

Using the bright Leica Elmarit f/2.8 lens and the Panasonics Image Stabilization we were able to photograph in the darkness using max. sensitivity of ISO200. See for yourself!

We even saw a movie set at the Grand Canal! I wonder which movie was it... Nobody showed up on the balcony as we were passing, and upon our return they finished already.
