This is the place on which cars and busses can reach Venice via the Ponte della
Liberta. From here cars have no access any further. From here you use river
busses or taxis. Venice has a great system of 24hours visitors tickets to
everything what propelles along the channels. This is the best deal for visitors
and they are valid really for 24 hours the next day, unlike many of the Austrian or
German "24h tickets," which frequently invalidate at 6:00 in the morning next day!
