Two gulls, seen at the mouth of Denniston Creek in Princeton Harbor, that I thought might be Thayer's, a first-winter (first two pictures) and an adult. Comments favor identifying the first-winter bird as indeed Thayer's, but suggest that the adult is a Glaucous-winged x Herring hybird, the form most often misidentified as Thayer's.
