RACE FOR THE CURE, APRIL 2006

This gallery contains the images for the Susan G Komen Tarrant County Race for the Cure. Over 18,000 people supported this cause and were there at the race as well as 1000 Survivors. The Survivors all wore Pink T-Shirts and the folks there to support the cause wore White T-Shirts. It was an amazing day and for a very good cause. Doing our part to help eliminate Breast Cancer and all other cancers is the goal.
I am a one year Survivor. Survivors of all ages from 19 to 90 were there. Women are getting younger everyday and getting diagnosed with this disease. 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with some form of Breast Cancer this year. That means 11 women a minute are told they have Breast Cancer.

We run to live, to fight, to give, to love, to support all of those who have won the battle, fighting the battle or died during their fight. To all those amazing women, you are all my sisters and to all those that were there supporting this cause, MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
