This T-Shirt says it all. The 60 mile race is coming up in October. It lasts 3 days and is a very emotional ride. My very dear friend, Robyn, was wearing this T-shirt today and she did the walk a year ago in June and it was HOT. She had to have intravenous liquids, had blisters on her feet, endured the heat as she participated in the event just for me. I met her at the finish line, just 3 months after my chemo was over along with my friends Jan and Sherry. When I saw her I broke down and just hugged her. (BTW, she is in my Real Texas Beauties gallery) That day will forever stand out in my mind to see Robyn and thousands of other women, walking 60 miles for 3 days, raise money to fund research to find a cure for breast cancer. Everyone there had someone they love that either had lost the battle, was fighting or had won their battle with breast cancer. The day was very emotional, full of love, hope and inspiration to all who were there. The love felt was so strong and no one was a stranger.
All cancer survivors have a bond and it is an immediate thing. Anyone that has battled cancer of any kind are special individuals. We are strong, beautiful, courageous, compassionate and understand what is really important in life. We have faith, love and hope that one day there will be a cure and cancer will be no more. Not one person should have to be brought as close to death as you can get just to continue to live. We all need to join the fight and support those that are being diagnosed every second. You never know, the next one could be someone you love or even yourself.

THIS IS DEDICATED TO ROBYN. YOU ARE A TRUE FRIEND AND I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH. YOU ARE MY ROCK AND WHAT YOU DID FOR ME I WILL NEVER FORGET.
