This shot is very close to my heart. I had to go for my 6 month visit to the Oncologist today. I'm sure I'm fine, but when I walked by the "chemo room" this lady was sitting in the chair that I sat in when I was hooked up. She too, is a breast cancer survivor. We spoke for a while and I hugged her and asked her if I could take her picture. She immediately pulled the bandana off her head and smiled and said yes. We both cried a little, I hugged her again and gave her my number. Today brought back a lot of memories of pain and fear but an inspiration to live and be healed.
