SHE WAS SAYING, THE SNOW WASN'T GOING TO KEEP US AWAY!

She said she was walking for her "Monster" In Law...and started laughing. Then, she explained that that is what her mother in law called herself and it just kind of stuck. She said she isn't a monster at all but a very wonderfully generous and loving woman. She is in stage 3 of Breast Cancer and is currently undergoing treatment.

I had stage 3 breast cancer as well. If it reaches your lymph nodes, then you are automatically put into that category. The worst is stage 4 which is usually fatal unless they can get it treated quickly with very, very agressive medicines. Of course, that depends on your physical condition and if you are in good shape and strong. Being healthy, otherwise, can really make a huge difference. I recovered from surgeries quickly and was able to walk about a 1/2 mile a day after I got out of the hospital from my radical (double) mastectomies. Was a little tired but it felt good. I could lift my arms over my head the next day after surgery which is usually never heard of. But, because I have always had good upper body strength and stay in shape, I was able to fight and win the stage 3 easier than it would be for someone else.
Music is "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me.
