The stories sound heartbreaking but they always end up positive. I've never met more people in one place that do NOT have anything negative to say. Everyone is upbeat and explains that through it all it made them a better person. You would think there would be so many feeling sorry for themselves but it has just the opposite reaction with the people here. Yes, the tears flow and the hugs and laughter are there as well but it is usually for joy and for rememberance of those passed on.
