Ripe Semillon

Ripe, but not quite ripe enough.
This is when the noble rot generally
starts. This is where the fruit is
attacked by a fungus that dehydrates
the fruits and converts any acids into
sugars and often additional flavours
that vary from melon to peaches and
vanilla. This is a prized trait in
desert wines such as the Monbazillac and
the Sauternes.

The transparency and the choice of a backlight create the link between the fruit and the wine.
