On aime le vin..

The Greek God Dionysos and the Roman God Bacchus represented wine.

Right now wines are represented by the countries that produce them.
It really is a miraculous product... fermented juice from a plant
that grows on sunshine and the most barren soil imaginable.
These colour snapshots represent a minuscule slice of the
Sainte Foy Bordeaux region. The region intersects several well
known regions such as Bordeaux (St Emilion and Castillon) which is best
known for its red wines, Entre deux Mers which is better known for its
dry whites and Bergerac, which produces some great reds and sweet whites.
Ste Foy Bordeaux produces them all and hence there is plenty of choice
to take some snapshots of the various types of vines and their produce.

Ste Foy Bordeaux is also known as one of the hidden corners of the Bordeaux
region. Some splendid wines are produced here but due to the small area and
the limited production, only a fraction of the produce is destined for the
international market.

"Take your time to discover that life should be savoured like a good glass of wine"
- Marechal Leclerc
