As a rope, chain photo enthusiast, I like this one a lot. I'd like to see more shots with some flow to the rope (maybe coiled). The bottom piece here is a bit distracting, but I love the top piece. As an alternate, try rearranging things to simplify shots, e.g., placing a shell, footprint, or something else of interest in the background (upper left quadrant), blowing that subject out of focus, and removing the bottom piece of rope, while keeping the focus you have on the top rope.
