NGC 6559 and surrounds.

Cootamundra, NSW

NGC 6559 is the broad cresent shaped, diffuse nebula to the middle left, this very faint nebula is situated near M8 in the constellation of Sagittarius.

Associated nebula in the photo are IC 1274, IC 4685, IC 1275, GN 18.06.6.01 and Barnard Dark Nebula, B 91 and B 303.

Taken with the Takahashi FSQ-106ED at f/5.0 in the light of Hydrogen Alpha (6Nm) and mounted on the Takahashi NJP mount.
