NGC 3532

Cootamundra, NSW.

NGC 3532 is a large, beautiful Open Cluster in the constellation of Carina, it is some 50 arc minutes wide and shines at a magnitude of 3.40 and is around 1600 Light Years away. Some faint nebulousity is visible on the far right, middle. This cluster is obvious to the naked eye from a semi-dark location. Also known as Collinder 238, Melotte 103, Raab 88 and OCL 839.
