NGC 3293 or the Gem Cluster is in the constellation of Carina, this beautiful Open Cluster has very faint nebulousity covering the entire area. This image shows some of that extensive nebulousity, both red, Emmission Nebula and the faint blue, Reflection Nebula.
This cluster shines at a magnitude of 6.20 and is around 6.0 arc minutes in size and at a distance of around 7600 Light Years, it is also known as Collinder 224, Loden 153, Melotte 100, Raab 85 and OCL 816.
