There had been a good rain two days previously, then the night before this picture was made, there were areas of frost -- our coldest night so far, as we headed into autumn.

This morning we arrived at Glen Avon around sunrise, and found the river steaming. Very beautiful, the mist dissipated as soon as the sun hit the water.
