This is the very last shot taken with this lens...

In an effort to get closer to the scene I promptly slipped on the wet slimy stairs and went crashing down along with tripod and camera.

I picked myself up and the pieces at the bottom... there goes my favourite wide angle...

I love this shot Stuart. I drove pas Havre Des Pas this morning thinking how beautiful it looked, but went to Elizabeth Castle. Sorry about your lense though.

Damn, hope camera was ok too (and you of course ;-) Shame about the lens, will the insurance pay out? I lost a lens in the Irish Sea off the Pembrokeshire coast once, so I know how it feels.
