Today Kris turns 20. What a place to celebrate a birthday, eh?

After landing in Kuwait, everyone was put on buses, and given ammo. Not a good sign - Kris didn't expect to get ammo quite so soon.

According to what we last heard, Kris would have left Camp Udairi, in Kuwait, for Camp Taji, in Iraq, on Sunday 4/Apr. Kris described Camp Udairi as a "beach with no ocean". According to the pictures I've found on the internet on Camp Udairi, it really is nothing but sand in every direction…with the exception of a few tents and structures within the camp.

The fighting that has been in the news, lately, is in a direct line between Kuwait, and Camp Taji (about 20 - 30 km NW of Baghdad). Our prayers are that they will go around the hot areas on their way to their post.

That's all I know, but will send out more as we hear from him.

Best wishes to all, and keep those prayers flowing!

Stuart
