Thank you for going to Iraq to protect our country and so we do not have to fight here. We more than appreciate it.
I am sorry you have been injured with the shrapnel, but I am thankful you are still doing all right. Our best of luck to you and to the people you are with. I am a good friend of Vanessa Bleddoe Phillips, just in case you are wondering who I am and where I came from.

Hi Kris,

Remember me and Jim? We still think of you as the cute little kid in Belgium! We read all of your dad's emails and keep your safety in our thoughts. Keep thinking positive and I hope it helps to know that alot of people are really proud of you and are thinking of you.
