Barbara, your series of "in the kitchen" photos is very well conceived and beautifully photographed. They're all very high-contrast, eye-catching compositions. You used such simple kitchen items to create some wonderful shadowcast forms...all unique takes with interesting visual patterns based on a common theme here. Good idea and well done, Barbara. I love the symmetry of this one...the only one of your three not to exit the framing. The reflected pattern is very appealing to look at. I can certainly see the resemblance to an open shell here...the lower half closest to the viewer. A wonderful effect.... and an almost real sense of depth here too. Nice photo, Barbara. MFC
