Shadow Vines*
by Justin Miller

Strange shadows cast on a nighttime wall required ISO1000 to capture handheld.

Neat radiating shadows, not bad at all for such high iso (kind of gives it a moody look). --Melanie

Justin, it looks to me like you did everything right to capture this beautiful scene under such unfavorable conditions (dark). The textures show nicely and I really like the colors and lighting here. Very nice indeed!

Thank you. To further excuse the ISO1000, this was in VERY dark night conditions...about the worst conditions you could force ISO1000 into shooting. I used a minor amount of NR, but left some noise in there to retain textures and some detail.

Justin, I like the night lighting of the whole scene here..and the interesting details of the structure. What a mighty fine castle you live in! :) I love how the light angle thru the vines creates such a dappled shadow effect on the wall here. Looks really good for iso 1000. Nice shot, Justin. MFC
