A Storm Building in the West

As can be seen in my photos 2 challenges back. The area I live in is in severe drought. These clouds built up this afternoon and we can only hope something comes of them.

Nice composition - I love the small row of trees against the big, stormy sky! I hope you get more rain soon.

We received a very small amount of rain overnight but the ground is dry this morning. The air is also full of smoke from bushfires caused by lightning strikes. The drought goes on !!!!

ric, the composition here really grabs my eye, especially the way that arching hill dotted with trees takes center stage and stands in silhouette against the moody sky. I certainly hope you got some much needed rain...nice shot. MFC
