9/20/2005 Tristan Panek

St. Elizabeth's at Night*
by Tristan Panek

Wilmington, DE

This was mainly practice at stacking for noise reduction and dynamic range all in one picture. This is a composite of probably 15-20 frames at various shutter speeds (1 - 4 seconds, IIRC). I should have gotten there about half an hour earlier for just a bit more color in the sky. Oddly, some idiot drove by during my shooting and yelled something out his car window about me being a pervert. I still don't understand why...

the world is full of them Tristan - i remember the same thing happening (the yelling - dont think i was classified as pervert :)) when i was taking long exposures of traffic from an overpass. i was so surprised i jumped and whirled around at the same time and pulled a muscle in my back! Nice picture btw - :) ~ gaurav
