This beautiful wooden staircase is in the Photography museum in Charleroi.
On the first floor they have a collection of black and white photos including works by Magritte, Cartier Bresson, Frank and many others.

Penelope, this is a curiosity as it's not easy to immediately get a point of reference. It looks as if he's heading towards a wall. I like the spindles of the stair case. A very sensual shape. Well captured!

Penelope, I like how you saw this scene...well composed/cropped too. I especially like the dual perspective here...both the distorted view reflected in the mirror...and also the "view" from behind the observer in the scene. Nice photo. MFC

What a novel way to shoot this staircase, Penelope. The lighting is also very good.---Deb
