Dallas Moonrise
by James Langford

This is a composite image I created with my 10D. I exposed one shot for the sunset with the buildings. I then shot a sequence of frames of the moon as it was rising. Using the "Lighten" layer command in PSE, I combined them into this. Hope you enjoy!

Beautiful- I really like the sharp, clear details, and the bright reflections!

James,

This is a gorgeous shot. You really have successfully picked up Shay's technique. I too noticed the lack of moons in the water. I know it is not the purist's way, but you could try adding them in PS.

Apart from that - perfection

First off, I really like most of this picture. 1 small point.

1) No moon refections in the water.

James,

Another spectacular image. It is really amazing how you have captured so much detail and the moon raising is great. Have you ever thought about putting less "moons", without having them all overlapping?

Great images James.

This is so pretty, the reflections on the water look like glass. I love the sequence of the moon, nicely done. Linda L.
