Thanks to all for your comments. Helen, yes you did, at a distance. Pip's half of the young pair that we kept. (Sonny's the protective old guy that sticks to me like glue :-) FWIW this was done with a large softbox I got cheap from LumiQuest's on-going super seconds sale. Normally I use them in pairs, but I'm agreeably surprised at the shadow control with this on its own. - Mike
