Grabbed this shot on our walk tonight in a muddy construction area.
Cropped and downsized but otherwise untouched in PS.
At first I couldn't figure out why the mud was sooo far out of the DOF,
then I remembered that when photographing a reflection the
focus distance is the reflected distance, not the reflection surface . . .
So the mud was indeed a long way out of the DOF.
I thought it was kind of a cool effect. Thoughts?
