Setting Up Housekeeping
*by Ann Chaikin

Anacortes, WA

We were at my brother's house for Thanksgiving and I was trying out my new (from eBay) Canon 100-400 lens. Amazingly two eagles flew overhead carrying sticks. (My brother was playing with my camera at the time.) We noticed that they were building a nest in a tree 200 yards from his house. What a way to test out the new lens. I expect we'll be taking lots of photographs of this family as they raise their young. How lucky can you be?
