Today at the Museum of Natural History in the Teddy Rosevelt Garden, un unveiling took place of the Nobel Monument. This monument has been four years in the making. It commemorates all of the American winners of the Nobel Prize. In the picture are the Mayor of New York City, the Crown Prince of Norway, two representatives of Sweden, a representative of the US government, Director of New York parks and a winner of the Nobel Prize pulling off the golden cover to reveal the monument. It was by good fortune that we found out about the ceremony and were able to attend. My father is one of the people whose name is inscribed on this monument.
