Having a Visitor for Lunch
by johnebones

Orange spider with white fur. Briefly has a visitor to his web.

Taken at dusk with the wind blowing the web in and out of focus.
Ended up overflashed/sharpened. Oh well.

other sizes: small medium original auto

What a great series, johnebones! Nothing beats "fresh" for lunch. I really like the crop and sharp detail of the spider. I've never seen a spider quite like this one.---Deb

Thanks Mark. Sorry for duplicating your title in the CSLR challenge (I've been singing '...Alone again, naturally' for the last few days. Ha.) -johnebones

Excellent series of a cool looking creature. Could be used as educational material. Mark J

Thanks Arn. I cropped quite a bit so that I could fit all 4 pictures on the same page and still see some detail. And that's the first and last time I've seen an orange spider in my backyard. -johnebones

What a great catch! The spider is nicely in focus and the web is visible too. How much did you crop? I think the sharpening is just appropriate for this size. -Arn
