Roberta - this is a wonderful image! On one hand I am confused by it, because the scale of the boater doesn't seem (in my head) to match up with the scale of the surrounding scenery - probably has something to do with the glassy water - and on the other hand I am totally enchanted. The gray mist hints at things not seen; mystical creatures that might lurk beyond, like elves and dragons! Then again, the simple attire of the kayaker (is that a word?) and the muted bright colors in the boat are striking in contrast! - JaimeZX

Of the images you've posted, this is my favorite. I love the quiet of the morning fog in Maine and you've captured it beautifully; excellent composition! Having been raised in Maine -- this image brings back many fond memories. -- El-See
