Thanks, Mark... Yes, it is odd, isn't it, LOL? It was late, and I was trying to come up with ideas for an assignment for an online photography course I'm taking (we're supposed to be shooting *lines*). I was using the pen to create a straight line that I thought might look interesting in contrast to the curved lines in my hand. Don't know if it worked in that regard, but it is monochromatic...
