There have been many comments in the gallery as well as questions via email and on STF regarding what consistutes "monochrome". Yes, my definition said "one color", and that is how *I* think of monochrome. However, the Mpls Photo Society (taken from the Photographic Society of America) of which I belong defines Monochrome as "a monochrome print is defined as having no more than two colors : monochrome plus one other color".
So, what I'm saying is that we have always had a broad acceptance of interpretations of themes, and this will be no exception. If an interpretation gets pushed too far, it is reflected in the voting, regardless of photo quality.
But most importantly, the challenges are about presenting a forum for showing your work and creativity. Let's go enjoy each others' work!
