After climbing the Escalante Staircase we arrive over Bryce Canyon Airport, elevation 7586 ft. I'm a chicken when it comes to flying in weather, so my personal alert level has been at Code Orange the whole flight; we're looking forward to being on the ground. Looking down on the field from overhead we notice the taxiway is under construction. The runway looks clear, though.
