Packing up; the Stemme with its wings folded is much less susceptible to the wind. Let me take this opportunity to put in a plug for Chico Hot Springs. It's a world-class resort that still manages to attract a sizable local clientele by maintaining modest lodging prices, cultivating a certain funkiness in its decor, and sporting a kickin' cowboy bar with live music on the weekends. The two huge, public hot pools, refilled daily from mineral hot springs with water at different temperatures (hot and hotter), are also a big draw. The Paradise Valley earns its name by being one of the most scenic corners of a beautiful state; Yellowstone Park's an easy day trip by car. And the clincher: Chico has the best dining room in the state of Montana. Highly Recommended.
