Designed as a no-compromise performance machine, the Stemme's cockpit is cramped for two big guys like us. At 6'2" I can only get comfortable (a relative term) by removing my shoes and flying in my stocking feet. The extra inch I gain by doing so means that my left shin is no longer pressed into the bottom of the panel and my left knee no longer imprinted with the shape of the spoiler handle. My tailbone is another matter, requiring several attempts at cutting up and folding a foam camping pad to relieve the pressure. In the end we were comfortable enough, though every extremity was wedged up against something: head, elbows, hips, knees, feet.
