Thanks, Simon. Modesty compels me to point out that my wife, Paulette and our fellow traveler, Doug Peel also contributed to the gallery, and that Doug organized this one (we've been trading off creating the galleries in the En France group).

I peeked into your galleries as well, and I really like Just Abstract.

Do you know of a way to get pbase to notify you when a forum message comes in? I always forget to look and then it's like this: over a month goes by between someone's posting a message and my getting around to reading and responding to it.

Dear Steve Zimmermann,
I am a fairly new (less than a year) member of the Gunroom. In May I hosted a lissun gathering at my house in Philadelphia. Doug Peel, Charlezzzzz, Faith Ingles, Doug and Sandy Essinger-Hileman and Lois Mont.......(?) all attended and we had a rolicking good time. Yesterday Doug Peel, Faith, Lois and I got together again for lunch and to visit with Faith for a bit. It was wonderful to see her again, especially after her unfortunate adventure earlier this year. She looks great and her wit is still all about her.
Doug was telling us about your wonderful trip to Europe and sent us the link to the photographs in this gallery. What a treat!
