Ring-billed Gull

I believe this is a ring-billed gull in 1st winter plumage. There were six gates open on the Nimbus dam today and the river was flowing at 9300 cubic feet per second. That's more than three times the normal rate. It must have been stirring up a lot of good snacks because the gulls were hovering and diving like there was no tomorrow.
