There are four islands in this photo. Just behind the van which is driving across
the Strand at low tide, is the southern tip of Colonsay. Just behind that (and
apparently joined) is Oronsay. In the middle distance, approx 6 miles away, is
Ruvaal lighthouse on the northerly tip of Islay, and some 12 miles away in the
far distance you can see the hills of Jura.
