I set things up so the choices are available:

...install the 3in catalytic converter for tailpipe emissions and some quiet;
...install the Moroso Spiral Flow racing muffler for quiet and flow.

to remove the cat and install the moroso...easy to do with the band clamps:

...and then have some fun.
