Ex Queensland Railway BB18 1/4 1072 at Bottom Points, on the Lithgow Zigzag Railway.
At what must be New South Wales Premier preserved Railway, the ZigZag railway had inauspicious beginnings. in 1969 /1970 it was denied the opportunity to purchase locomotives and rolling stock from New South Wales ( a situation which was reversed a couple of years later) and was forced to go further afield. It currently holds a collection of mainly ex Queensland Railways stock, and maintains 3 serviceable Steam locos. It is also home to what must be Australia only female locomotive driver
Amonst its acheivements is the reopening of not only the zig zag itself from Clarence to bottom points, but is currently extending the line to Nene Junction.
