Wrong...........The White Paint Is so that tree cannot be felled. Government make sure to that. And Australian Eucalyptus is to absorb Agent Orange in the soil. Not a pee marker They pee anywhere.

I believe the white stuff is mostly painted on to carry that chemical from white rocks... to eliminate those little animals like termites..., wutchu call 'em?, from crawling up and cause damage to the trees....
also... the white mark is the maximum into the tree where you can piss lolz!
