This is Saint Josephs Catholic church, in Macon Georgia. An unusally large and beautiful church, even by todays standards, must have been a real wonder at the start of the last century.

Construction was started in 1888 and completed in 1903.

This church has been begging me to photograph it and calling for me to buy a Nikon 12/24 to do the job. Finaly I listened.
I could stay in this church from dawn to dusk photographing the changing light.
