Our time in Italy was great. So great in fact that I stopped updating this page and just enjoyed being there. 3 days in Rome, we spent most of our time around the Coliseum and Forum.

Then we headed down to Sicily so I could visit friends I had made while stationed there. We stayed at the Villa Nella B&B, operated by Nella and Santo Manzella. I met Santo when I lived in Brucoli, Sicily. I went into his studio in the fall of 1994 looking for B&W film. When I asked him for the film in pretty shaky Italian, he replied "I speak english". He and his wife and family became very good friends. In fact they were my family in while I was in Italy, and I consider them so still today.

After our return I was involved in a car accident in my "SHTTRBG" (2000 VW New Beetle), and have not been doing much besides work, school and family. I'm just now starting to feel like getting out and shooting again. So look for more entries coming to a web near you!
