Day 5: Lower Paintbrush Canyon to South Jenny Lake

Woke up this morning to several inches of snow on the tent! It was a real winter wonderland. Thanks to our long mileage yesterday, today would be a short jog downhill to Jenny Lake. Snow continued to fall until we were nearly to String Lake. We made it to the boat dock at Jenny Lake by 11:10 and saved ourselves 2 miles of hiking by taking a pleasant boat ride across the lake in the wind and rain. Ok, so it wasn't that pleasant but it beat walking! Total miles today - 6.9, with 1300' elev loss.
