Fall in Payson Canyon 09_27_09.jpg

Here is a snap shot taken in the canyon behind our home. Sunday afternoon Wanda and I took my mother for a drive in the canyon to see the fall leaves. The maples are at about their peak. The aspens are just beginning to turn.

One thing I miss, (and it's just about the only thing I miss), living here in Northern Florida is the stunning colors in the fall. The crispness in the air, "frost on the pumpkin" and the smell of home-made apple pie and cinnamon wafting from the oven ... all my favorite things in the Autumn. Of course, the most important thing to me though and why I moved to Florida in the late 70's is not having to deal with all te d@mn snow and the mess after the beautiful colors are gone! Beautiful image! Voted!

I never thought I would say this about a photo of a landscape, but that picture is almost as beautiful as Wanda.

Incredible. You call this a snapshot! I've got a long way to go before I capture anything as good as your "snapshot". Keep up the great work.
