Hi-Volume Early 930 Turbo Oil-Pump

...This is the "early" 930 Turbo High-Volume Oil-Pump, casting #930.107.129.1R (now superceded by the "964" casting number). These pumps are often used in Porsche competition engines and they are among the largest hi-volume oil-pumps used in Porsche cars. I purchased this oil-pump to use in my 3.0 liter 911 RSR engine.

One of the main differences between this 930 oil-pump and the "newer" replacement (964) oil-pump is the front section of the pump's body is forged Steel as opposed to cast Aluminum making the 930 oil-pump stronger and better made than the newer replacement. BTW, these older 930 oil-pumps are "NLA" (No Longer Available) and very difficult to find. The Porsche Dealer retail price was over $1,700 just a few years ago.
