...I need your collective assistance in helping to find one just like the part pictured in the photo gallery. The forging number on the part is 911.333.151.01 and I'm not sure if the "LEFT" and the "RIGHT" is one of the same. I was told both sides are the same...

I realise this is an old post now but still intersting. The cast housing with Part Number 911.333.151.01 does not seem to be handed as the Parts List only shows one part and the requirement of 2 per car. The bearing is not a needle roller but uses 2 x ball bearings with a sapcer tube. The Spring Plates are interesting as they seem to be handed as there is a Left hand and Right Hand Number. I can't see any reason why the spring plates are handed but there must be some particular feature.

Hi Armando. What's inside that cover plate held on my the three loc nuts? Does it look like a plastic bushing fits inside there, or indents for a ball bearing race (or better yet the outer race itself)? Porsche got itself in trouble for using a non-homologated cover plate at the '73 Monza 1000km; maybe you have one of them. I forwarded some of your pics to Norbert Singer, but--no word yet. I'll keep you posted

Hi Adrian! Thank you for your post, much appreciated... Here are my observations; I believe there is a "LEFT" and a "RIGHT" side not only because the part I have is stamped with an "R"http://www.pbase.com/slidevalve911rsr/image/71393838 (implying "Right") but the part is also NOT symmetrical. Look herehttp://www.pbase.com/slidevalve911rsr/image/71582719 original and note the "red" arrows... In my opinion, one can NOT just simply flip it over to use it on the opposite side. That being said, I also now wonder if in fact you are correct and it can be flipped and used on either side. Maybe someone with a 934/935 race car with the same suspension set-up can verify our quandary. Anyone have any other input or comments? ; )
